Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps on iOS in Kuwait Q3 2021

During the third quarter of 2021, the top navigation and maps apps on iOS in Kuwait displayed diverse trends in downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps maintained a consistent presence with weekly downloads ranging from around 4.5K to 5.5K. The app saw its highest downloads in the week of August 23, reaching approximately 5.4K. In terms of active users, Google Maps had a steady user base, fluctuating between 440K and 460K throughout the quarter.

Google Earth experienced a significant spike in weekly downloads in early July, peaking at about 8.5K, before stabilizing to around 700-800 downloads per week towards the end of the quarter. The app's active users mirrored this trend, with a high of nearly 20K in mid-July, followed by a more stable range of 4.5K to 5K active users in September.

Kuwait Finder showed moderate weekly downloads, ranging from around 1K to 1.4K. The app's active user base remained relatively stable, hovering around 4.5K, with a slight dip to just above 4K towards the end of September.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw weekly downloads between approximately 750 and 1.2K. Active users for Waze fluctuated between 100K and 115K, with a notable peak in the week of July 26 when active users reached approximately 115.8K.

Finally, Radarbot: Speed Cameras | GPS had more modest download figures, ranging from around 260 to 600 weekly downloads. However, it experienced an increase in weekly revenue, peaking at about $300 in early September. Active users for Radarbot ranged from 825 to 1.2K, with a notable increase in mid-September.
